Arsenal target Denis Suarez will spend the rest of the season with Barcelona’s reserves if he does not accept a move to Real Betis or Sevilla this month, claims El Larguero.
Suarez has dropped completely out of favour at Barcelona and is free to leave the club for the right price.
The former Spain international has his heart set of reuniting with Unai Emery at Arsenal but the Gunners can only afford loan signings this month.
Talks between Barcelona and Arsenal reportedly collapsed at the start of the week, with the Gunners unwilling to agree to a mandatory purchase option at the end of the season.
Suarez has now been told if he doesn’t accept a move to either Betis or Sevilla, who have tabled €20m (£17.4m) bids, then he will be banished from the first-team for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old has not started a game in any competition this season and was cut from Barcelona’s squad for their 2-0 defeat to Sevilla in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday night.
