Without further adieu, let’s run through our XI this week shall we?
Goalkeeper - JONAS LOSSL
Many tipped Huddersfield to go straight back down -- this writer included -- but they have shocked the sceptics with two wins from two, with Jonas Lossl keeping back-to-back clean sheets in the process. The welcome of Southampton is expected to test the Terriers, yet the 28-year-old will be confident of shutting Saints out having made nine saves already this season, six of which have come in the penalty area; no goalkeeper has made more of the latter.
Defender - KIKO FEMENIA
A summer arrival from Alaves, Kiko Femenia was thrust into action earlier than expected having replaced Daryl Janmaat in the first half of the 3-3 draw with Liverpool on the opening weekend of the season. The Spaniard followed that up with a strong showing in Watford’s 2-0 win over Bournemouth last weekend, with his performance earning a spot in WhoScored.com’s Premier League team of the week. Brighton are one of five teams yet to score a top-flight goal this term and one may expect Femenia to add a clean sheet bonus to his points score.
Defender - ZANKA
Like Lossl, Zanka moved to Huddersfield in the summer and has slotted in seamlessly at the heart of the Terriers defence. His Champions League experience has shone through time and time again and he will be called upon once more to deny Saints on Saturday. The giant Dane has the requisite tools to keep the Saints attack at bay and make it three clean sheets from three for Huddersfield this weekend.
Defender - AHMED HEGAZI
Like Huddersfield and Manchester United, West Brom have made a perfect start to the Premier League season and are yet to concede a goal. Egyptian powerhouse Ahmed Hegazi has played an essential role at the heart of the Baggies defence, with the 26-year-old the only player to win the WhoScored.com man of the match award in both matches so far this term. No player has made more clearances than Hegazi (21) and against a Stoke side that has scored just one goal in two games, we feel the centre-back is an essential pick up this week.
Midfielder - HENRIKH MKHITARYAN
Manchester United’s stunning start to the campaign has seen them soar to the summit of the Premier League. That in part is down to the attacking influence of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has been directly involved in four of United’s eight league goals scored. The Armenian struggled to make a lasting impact last term, but has already registered more assists (4) than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues this season having provided just the one assist last season.

Midfielder - AARON MOOY
While the Huddersfield defence has been solid, their attack his been supplemented superbly by midfielder Aaron Mooy. The Australia international was excellent for the Terriers in their promotion-attaining campaign and has taken to the rigours of the Premier League like a duck to water. Mooy scored the well-taken winner against Newcastle last Sunday after providing an assist at Crystal Palace on the opening weekend of the season and with defensive and attacking stats contributing to crucial Yahoo! points, he’ll be a solid addition ahead of the welcome of Saints.
Midfielder - JAMES MCARTHUR
Crystal Palace may have made a slow start to life under Frank de Boer and the new Eagles boss will hope to make home advantage count with the welcome of Swansea on Saturday. Ruben Loftus-Cheek's absence hinders their chance of all three points, but James McArthur's availability is a boost to De Boer. The Scotland international netted twice in the Carabao Cup in midweek and at just £14 with Yahoo!, his inclusion would free up funds to invest elsewhere.
Midfielder - SADIO MANE
Sadio Mane was in fine form against Hoffenheim in midweek, and has two goals in two games so far this term. His Liverpool debut came against Arsenal, where he netted a superb solo effort to guarantee the three points for the Reds, while he bagged against the Gunners in this fixture last season. All in all, he has three goals and two assists against Arsenal in six Premier League appearances and you wouldn’t be against him adding to that return on Sunday.
Utility - JORDAN AYEW
Swansea were trounced by Manchester United last weekend and while they are yet to score, it is not for want of trying. Jordan Ayew may have had just the two shots across two games, but his trickery in possession means it will be hard for Crystal Palace to contain the Ghanaian. He is an in-form Yahoo! player, who netted late on against MK Dons in midweek and could be a handy utility man in your XI.
Striker - CHICHARITO
A brace against Southampton last week saw Chicharito earn more points (26.05) than any other player with Yahoo! last week. We’re tipping him to repeat his goalscoring return in West Ham’s trip to Newcastle this week, against who the Mexican has three goals in his last seven starts. He’s a tad pricey at £25, but with Newcastle struggling at the back, Chicharito may be just the striker required to bag you some crucial points this weekend.
Striker - RICHARLISON
Following Chicharito in the points ladder is Richarlison, who bagged himself 17.20 points with Yahoo! on the back of his strong showing against Bournemouth. At home to Brighton, the Brazilian youngster will again be confident of scoring in back-to-back league games and as a relatively unknown entity in the Premier League, the 20-year-old is available at a modest £20. In Marco Silva’s favoured 4-3-3 formation, the Brazilian has the attacking freedom to put opponents to the sword -- we expect him to do so at Vicarage Road at the weekend.
