Fanteam Fantasy Football: Ronaldo and Sterling among Euro qualifiers XI

We have decided to focus on something slightly different with Fanteam Fantasy Football this week. We will take a look ahead of gameweek nine in the Premier League later in the week, but for now we will focus on the final batch of Euro 2020 qualifiers, which start tonight.

The great thing about Fanteam Fantasy Football is the fun doesn't have to stop when league action stops. They also cover the international break, let alone other sports around the world.

Have your eyes on the €5,000 prize with a €22 buy in but unsure who to pick in your XI from the four eligble matches (Ukraine vs Portugal, Lithuania vs Serbia, France vs Turkey and Bulgaria vs England)? Do not fear, we are on hand to help and will even reveal what our XI would be for the contest. There are also other contests with cheaper buy ins, though the prize pool also diminishes. If you haven't signed up, then get going here!

Aleksandar Mitrovic (Serbia) - 14.9M

Serbia will aim to keep their hopes of qualifying for Euro 2020 alive when they travel to face Lithuania on Monday night. Serbia are four points off second with three games left to play in their group and will hope to take advantage of the fact Ukraine and Portugal, the group's top two sides, face each other at the same time.

Serbia have generally underperformed in the qualification but they are considered overwhelming favourites against Lithuania, who are bottom of the group with five defeats in six matches.

With that in mind, you should turn your attention to Fulham striker Aleksandr Mitrovic, who will pose Serbia's greatest goal threat. Mitrovic has fantastic pedigree at international level and has six goals in his last four appearances for Serbia.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (England) - 11M

Gareth Southgate's decision to pick Kieran Trippier over Trent Alexander-Arnold in Friday's surprise 2-1 defeat to Czech Republic was met with criticism and the Liverpool right-back will get his chance when England face Bulgaria on Monday.

Alexander-Arnold is regarded as not only the best right-back in the Premier League but also one of the elite full-backs in the world after a reaching a remarkable level over the last 12 months. England are expected to respond in good fashion when they face Bulgaria after a startling poor performance in Prague on Friday.

The 21-year-old has one goal and two assists in eight league appearances for Liverpool so far this season and ranks second for key passes in the Premier League (28). There should be plenty of chances for the likes of Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling if England can get Alexander-Arnold in good positions on the right handside.
