Creative force Fernandes heads Man Utd trio in Premier League midweek best XI
Manchester United put in their most complete performance under Erik ten Hag on Wednesday night as they saw off Tottenham 2-0 at Old Trafford, though having battered the Spurs goal, the scoreline did flatter the visitors. United have three players make the midweek best XI, so too do Crystal Palace, while Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and Leicester are also represented.

Nottingham Forest earned their second point from their last three games at Brighton on Tuesday night, and while they remain rooted to the foot of the table, Dean Henderson ensured they returned to Nottingham with a positive result. Kieran Trippier (Newcastle) - 8.04
Making the Premier League team of the week for the sixth time this season, Kieran Trippier won his third WhoScored man of the match award of the season in Newcastle's 1-0 win over Everton.
