French powerhouse side PSG are confident they will win the race to sign Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes this summer, reports the Mirror.
Guimaraes has been a revelation for the Magpies following his arrival from Lyon two years' ago and is in no rush to leave St. James' Park.
The Brazil international does have a £100m release clause in a new contract he signed back in October.
PSG would be prepared to trigger that release clause at the end of the season as they consider a midfield revamp.
The 26-year-old is likely to have a lengthy list of potential suitors in the summer, with Real Madrid also known admirers of the Brazil international.
In addition, Premier League pair Liverpool and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in Guimaraes, who has returned a WhoScored rating of 7.11 in England's top tier this term.
PSG currently top Ligue 1 after 19 games but did drop points against high-flying Brest on Sunday night as the pair played out a 2-2 draw in the capital.
Newcastle are next in league action on Tuesday night as they take on Aston Villa as they seek to end a four-game losing streak.
