Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is keen to raid former club Chelsea for Willian and Tottenham for star defender Toby Alderweireld this summer, reports Yahoo! Sport.
Willian is currently behind Pedro in the Chelsea pecking order having made just 13 Premier League starts for Antonio Conte’s side this season.
Alderweireld, however, is a key man for Tottenham with the Belgian one of the first names on the team sheet when fit.
Mourinho is keen to bolster his defence over the summer after missing out on the signing of Benfica’s Victor Lindelof in January.
The Portuguese boss is a keen admirer Spurs’ star defender and will hope to take advantage of any potential breakdown in contract negotiations to secure his services at the end of the season.
Willian, meanwhile, may look for a move away from Stamford Bridge if first team opportunities remain limited and he could be keen to link up for Mourinho once more.
The Brazil international recently revealed that United tried to sign him upon Mourinho's appointment, with the former Chelsea boss expected to return for the 28-year-old when the transfer window re-opens.
