Chelsea will have to part ways with £30m to sign Shakhtar Donetsk forward Alex Teixeira in January, according to the London Evening Standard.
The Blues are looking to revamp their strike force when the transfer window reopens following troubled starts for Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao, who have only scored a combined three goals in the Premier League this season.
Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen in signing Teixeira, who has previously admitted interest from Chelsea, from the Ukraine champions, but will have to fork out £30m to sign the 25-year-old.
The Brazilian attacking midfielder has scored a staggering 19 goals in 13 league appearances this season for Shakhtar, which is three more goals than the entire Chelsea squad has managed having played just one game fewer.
